Gilbert Colvin Primary School
Indoor Athletics Competition
On Tuesday 12th December, Gilbert Colvin took part in the annual indoor athletics competition held at Beal High School. Mr Wilson took along 10 children from years 5&6 to represent the school.
They competed in 5 field events and 6 running events. Out of the 6 running events Gilbert Colvin came 1st in 4 and 2nd in the other 2.
The children scored a total of 132 points the highest out of all of the schools in the afternoon session…..meaning they were the winners and they all gained a well-deserved gold medal.
Congratulations Tiwa, Ibnat, Idris, Tanzil, Hassan, Annie, Hana, Benas, Zohair and Rebecca you all showed great skill and perseverance.
