We went on a visit to Valentines Mansion where we explored the different rooms and their purposes. We looked at the roles that people would’ve had in such a large house such as that of a footman, a housemaid, a housekeeper and a butler. One of the most interesting facts from our visit was that Valentines Park was left by Sarah Ingleby - the last owner of Valentines Mansion, as a park to be enjoyed by the public! How thoughtful!
