Online Safety

The internet is an amazing place to learn and have fun, but it's important to stay safe online.

Top Tips:

  • Never share your personal information (like your full name, address, or passwords) with anyone online.

  • Always ask a trusted adult before downloading anything or clicking on links.

  • If someone online says or does something that makes you uncomfortable, tell a trusted adult right away.

  • Remember: not everything online is true, and not everyone is who they say they are.

Tricky People

Sometimes, people we don’t know—or even people we do know—might not have the best intentions.

How to Stay Safe:

  • Trust your gut: If something doesn’t feel right, it probably isn’t.

  • Use the "No, Go, Tell" rule: Say "No," get away from the situation, and tell a trusted adult.

  • Remember, adults should never ask children to keep secrets about things that make them uncomfortable.

Consent and Boundaries

Everyone has the right to feel comfortable and safe in their own body. Always remember, your body belongs to you.

Things to Remember:

  • It's okay to say "no" to things that make you feel uncomfortable.

  • Always respect other people’s boundaries, too.

  • If someone doesn’t respect your "no," talk to a trusted adult.
