At Gilbert Colvin Primary School, we believe that all pupils should attend school in person to receive the best possible education. However, we understand that there may be exceptional circumstances where in-person attendance is not possible, or where government guidance advises against it.
In these cases, we are committed to providing remote learning to ensure that pupils can continue their education. This may include situations where the school is temporarily unable to open safely, in line with local or national government guidance, or when individual pupils are unable to attend school due to illness but are well enough to learn from home.
Remote learning will be provided in a way that is in line with our curriculum and tailored to meet the needs of each pupil, ensuring they can continue to progress in their learning while at home.
