This year, our school was excited to celebrate Black History Month, with each class from Nursery to Year 6 learning about significant historical events and influential Black figures, both past and present. In addition, pupils explored how Black culture has shaped the arts and assembly reading books were relevant to Black history.
At the end of the month, the children’s work was displayed and parents were invited to our BHM gallery.
