In this engaging RE workshop, Year 2 students had the opportunity to learn from a special guest—a parent from their school community—who introduced them to the Five Pillars of Islam. The session focused on explaining the significance and meaning behind each pillar, giving students a deeper understanding of the practices that are central to the Islamic faith. A highlight of the workshop was a thoughtful discussion about the Shahadah, the declaration of faith, and its profound meaning in the lives of Muslims. Through interactive activities and open conversations, the children gained a greater appreciation for the importance of these beliefs in Islam.
