Some pupils in Year 6 were lucky to attend a maths day led by one of the UK’s leading maths specialists, Pete Hall. The children had the opportunity to really stretch their thinking and solve complicated mathematical problems. They persevered when trying to make various shapes out of tangrams and discovered the beauty of magic squares and their very own magical mathematical number! The children explained their thinking clearly and worked well as a team.
